REST • TRUST • RECEIVE • CONCEIVE • DELIVER
Remembering that we can’t give away what we haven’t first received… and then realizing that we really don’t have something unless we are giving it away. And the third measurement is seeing that those people we have been entrusted with receive from us to the point where they too want to give… to the point where the person they give to wants to do the same.
This morning Richard Johnson sent me this scripture. Many of you may know him, and if you don’t, you probably will as the Body continues to come together in this season:
“Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for I trust in You.
Teach me the way in which I should walk;
For to You I lift up my soul.”
Psalm 143:8
Today is an Ayin day — the eye. The scriptures tell us that the eyes of YHWH are going to and fro throughout the earth looking for those whose hearts are right toward Him. So today I am asking Him to help me see what He sees.
It is also a Father day — meditating on the unseen aspect of the Trinity, the One who begins the work, the One who plants the seed, the One who is always moving even when we cannot yet see it.
In the cycle of five, today is a next smallest doable step day, reminding us to be faithful in the little things and to do each step well. Often the next step is simple, but obedience in the small things is what allows God to entrust us with larger things.
In the cycle of seven, it is a mental / intellectual day. Sometimes solutions come when we are not forcing them. They come from the unseen realm, from the quiet whisper of the Spirit bringing clarity into our thinking.
In the fruit of the Spirit, it is a love day. God is love, and love never forces itself upon us. So today we are reminded to choose Him and choose love in the way we respond to the people around us.
And finally in the cycle of twelve, today is a “We win — let’s play” day. Life can get hectic, but when we are walking with Him, we already know the outcome.
Have an amazing day walking with Him, seeing what He sees, and taking the next faithful step.
HalleluYah.
