Day 96 — REST TRUST RECEIVE CONCEIVE DELIVER

Traveling to be with the men of Parchman Penitentiary Prison.
Holy Sabbath in His Name — Yahuah Yahushuah.

Whenever I think of Holy Monday, the day after the Resurrection, I think of the amazing walk those two men had with Yahushua on the road to Emmaus. He greeted them. He revealed truth to them. He ate with them. He was with them — and they were never the same.

Last year, inside the prison as I was ministering, the Holy Spirit prompted me to share this: “20 seconds with Jesus and you will never be the same. He will show you a deep respect. He will honor you, love you, and if that is not enough, He will offer you His trust.”

For most of us, these gifts are almost too much to receive from Him. But when you realize that He is not just giving them to you for you, but for you to receive, conceive, and then deliver to others, it becomes weightier, holier, and more purposeful.

For the next three days I will be inside ministering.

Today we meditate on Chet.

It is a Holy Spirit day.
It is a What would you do if you knew you would succeed? day.
It is an emotion day.
It is a generosity day.
And it is a forgive yourself and others, often day.

For me, Chet is Chesed — dutiful love, covenant love, the kind of love we get to express. But I am also reminded of how dedicated and honor-bound He has made Himself to us and for us.

I think of the wedding canopy, the chuppah.
I think of a bridge, a crossing over.

When we commit to enter covenant with Yah, we receive both rights and responsibilities. When we say yes, we cross over from a selfish, isolated place into an awakened place where the currency is love and service — beginning with Him loving and serving us first.

This sounds like the Holy Spirit to me:
quiet and steady,
able and willing,
guide and comforter.

So why would we not dream big?
What would you do if you knew you would not fail?

I would love to hear your answer.

It is also a day to ask yourself: “ How am I feeling?”

On the road to Emmaus, Yahushua asked those men, “Why are you sad?” He met them in their emotion before He opened their understanding.

Clearly, these men were still unaware of what had just happened. They did not yet understand the power of the Resurrection. Death had been defeated. He proved to us that eternal life is real and available to anyone who will ask for it, receive it, and believe it.

But eternal life is not merely a concept.
It is a person — Yahushua.

All of history hinges on that day. He did it for us …

In His service and yours,
Dan
